Located just 27 km from the city of Malargue are erected Pincheira Castles, forming one of the most spectacular sights in nature gives a stunning castle formed by the erosive action of climatic agents ; ticos.
Los Castillos de Pincheira get their name because a famous outlaw and leader of the Indians named Jose Antonio Pincheira, who used this area as a hideout for their actions.
Were found in the vicinity of the castle the remains of indigenous culture such as pottery, beads and arrowheads.
For its base flows the river Malargue, and only a few meters the Arroyo Pincheira, with clear waters, giving shape to an unusual landscape.
